Background & Challenges

At Meiji Yasuda General Insurance Co., Ltd., there was a need to provide standardized training for agency sales representatives.

With the termination of support for the previously used Sales Enablement (formerly MyTrailhead), the company faced the following challenges:

・A replacement tool was needed that could be introduced without burdening existing users

・An LMS accessible from the existing agency portal via SSO, etc., was required

・It was not possible to configure details such as target learners or learning periods for each training content

・A mechanism was needed for internal staff to easily grasp learning progress and comprehension

Solution

At WeLearn Co., Ltd., we proposed the implementation of Appinium, a learning platform running on Salesforce Experience Cloud.
In building the environment, the following measures were taken:

・Clearly distinguished between mandatory learning content and ongoing learning content

・Designed the system to automatically assign videos and tests based on agency job roles and responsibilities

・Automated notifications and deadline reminders for required learning

・Adopted question formats suitable for assessing comprehension in tests, enabling accurate measurement of understanding

Implementation Results

・Realization of standardized learning:
Enabled the delivery of unified learning content to agencies nationwide, as well as content with specified target learners and time periods.

・Visualization and efficiency of operations:
Internal staff can now monitor learning progress of agencies and users in real time, improving efficiency in managing course follow-ups and progress tracking.

・Enhanced security and notifications:
Simplified LMS operations through automatic assignments, while notification features effectively promote continued learning.
