What kind of work did you do before joining WeLearn?

I was working in development for two years, mainly as support agent for Salesforce systems. I learned a lot about different features, such as; reports, data loader, and standard settings. I am glad that I am able to make use of my experience here at WeLearn.

What was your motivation or reason for joining WeLearn?

The most important thing for me is the atmosphere in the company. At work, there are always many things that you don’t understand at first. Therefore, I decided to join the company by focusing on the kindness of the people during the interview. I thought that I would be able to enjoy working in a company with such kind people.

Do you have any experience working abroad or learning English?

I’m from overseas, so Japan is also a foreign country for me. I have always loved travelling and have travelled to 25 countries. I don’t study English seriously, but occasionally, I find it useful to do research in English. I would like to improve my English skills in the future.

What kind of work do you do now?

I'm a Salesforce CRM developer.

What is the most important thing in your work?

Understanding the customers needs and wants. After understanding the customer's intentions and considering their objectives, we can think about how we can realize their wishes. Also, I think it's important to always keep in mind how to make business more efficient.

How do you communicate with team members in a fully remote work environment?

It is important to look back on what you have heard. When I receive instructions about my work, I always check to see if there are any discrepancies in what I understand. Therefore, you can check whether there is a recognition difference, so you can avoid wasting time and unnecessary work. We frequently share the progress of our work. Just sharing the status of the work you are doing now is very useful for communication.

Are there any unique features of WeLearn?

We work completely remotely, and although it is a Japanese company, people from various countries are gathering. I enjoy meeting people from many different countries and experiencing the diversity of cultures.

I think that WeLearn's unique feature is that it has a free atmosphere in the company.

How would you describe your WeLearn coworkers?

There are many people with various backgrounds and specialized knowledge, and I learn a lot. What I especially like is that everyone is kind and easy to talk to. Just like the atmosphere of the company, each and every employee has a lot of freedom, and it's fun.

Are there any points that make you feel glad that you joined WeLearn?

Firstly, my coworkers were kind just like those in the interview, and I think it was very good that they treated me kindly and with respect. Second, it is a full remote work environment, and so, being able to manage my life the way I want is very convenient and I am very grateful.

What are your hobbies?

It’s about creating good habits. Every morning, I wake up, go to the gym, take a walk, study, clean my room, cook, listen to music, and read. I try to be productive with my time.

Do you have a good work-life balance?

I think it depends on the work situation, but overtime is almost non-existent unless there are special circumstances. I think I have a good work-life balance.

How do you spend your time after work and on weekends?

I like reading manga after work. Lately, I've been obsessed with Detective Conan. My hobbies are reading, taking walks, and learning new things. I take a lot of time to relax every day, I feel that I am very satisfied.
